OLD NEWS IS STILL GOOD NEWS, SO PICK YOUR YEAR: 200320022001200019991998

"THE DEAD NEXT DOOR" DEBUTS ON LASERDISC! (12/10/97): Laserdisc fans, rejoice! We've just received word that our flagship title, J.R. Bookwalter's THE DEAD NEXT DOOR, will receive a laserdisc release in Japan on January 25th, 1998! The home video release of the film earlier this year was apparently a smashing success for our Japanese distributors, so much so that they decided to proceed with this long-anticipated laser release. We're in discussions now about importing the disc to sell to our fans here. We'll be posting more news on that soon, but in the meantime, if you just can't wait to own a copy, send us an e-mail and we'll add your name to a special mailing list so you'll be the first on your block to own one!

TEMPE ENTERS THE 35mm WORLD (11/16/97): ...well, sort of. Tempe chief J.R. Bookwalter's love of editing has led him to moonlighting for Full Moon Pictures' new creature feature SHRIEKER, making its home video debut in January. The film, directed by newcomer Victoria Sloan, was shot in 35mm anamorphic (widescreen) and is being edited via Tempe's very own digital non-linear editing system. Tempe will also provide post sound services to SHRIEKER. The picture will have a few small theatrical screenings around town and is slated for a widescreen DVD release sometime in 1998. J.R.'s work was very well-received by Full Moon head honchos Charles and Albert Band -- so much so that they have enlisted him to start editing a bigger project whose name shall remain secret (for now). We'll just say it's a new sequel to a Full Moon staple...more to come!

NEW TEMPE WEB DOMAIN (7/97):

Thanks to this move, in the next few months we'll be offering up gobs of web goodies including RealAudio soundtrack samples and interviews, more Adobe Acrobat PDF files for download, long-promised Quicktime trailers for some of our more recent efforts and secure online ordering via credit card! You'll want to bookmark our new address and check in regularly for all of these changes.
